David Nathan Porter III Prophetic Apostle
A Living Testimony of God’s Miraculous Power
Apostle David Nathan Porter III’s life is an enduring testament to divine purpose and miraculous intervention. Born prematurely on January 3, 1958, weighing just three pounds, he faced critical health challenges that threatened his survival. Despite grim medical predictions, his grandmother’s steadfast faith and declaration, “Oh no, he is not going to die, because the Lord has a work for him to do,” became reality. On the seventh day of his life, a miraculous turnaround occurred, and Apostle Porter began accepting life-saving blood transfusions. Today, he continually proclaims, “I praise and thank the Lord for His healing power and for honoring my grandmother’s extraordinary faith.”
Early Life and Divine Calling
Apostle Porter was born to Bettie J. Porter, who later married Rev. Aaron J. Bland when Apostle was only 16 months old. Rev. Bland, alongside Apostle Porter’s mother and grandmother, nurtured and guided him spiritually from early childhood. At the young age of 15, he embraced his divine calling, receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost on January 9, 1973. Apostle Porter was ordained in 1981 by the late Bishop F. G. Green and was publicly confirmed as a prophet in 1987 by Apostle Emma J. Ware. After faithfully awaiting God's appointed time, he was publicly affirmed as an Apostle in 2015 by Bishop Bill Hamon and Apostle Leon Walters of the Christian International Network.
